Jani ‘Japala’ Pönkkö made a 
WOW original mod that i think i’ll also do someday because it’s too cool. He used a Logitech G5 Laser Mouse and a Nokia 6610 LCD to build this toy :
Of course, you can use another displays from broken cellphones (especially Nokia and Sony Ericsson) and make a simple interface for them (look for the links below) to make the project cheaper (no need for the driver board) but with some limitations (slower graphics).
