How to transform photograph to stencil using Photoshop

While browsing www.instructables.com I found another cool Photoshop tutorial. It shows us how to transform normal images to stencil-like images.

Based on it I modified it a little more (other steps)

Here is my test:

To do so follow the instructions :
1)open the image in Photoshop
2)crop the target object (if needed, look at picture 2)
3)crop the object itself (using Magic Wand, look at picture 3)
4)Filter->Artistic->Colored Pencil … In the left side you have a preview panel so try different combinations to see the perfect solution for your object. For me, it was “Watercolor”.
